About This Project
Over the years, due to strong demands and urban development, more and more hi-rise buildings and commercial buildings are being constructed. With garbage collection and hygiene as one of the concerns of this trend, Trash Chutes became common use in buildings to allow a more efficient waste disposal from the different floors without using the elevators.
Trash chutes are commonly used in apartments, condominiums, hotels, hospitals and other office buildings while Linen Chutes are commonly used in hospitals and hotels.
As a company standard, the diameter of the trash and linen chutes are 600mm or 500mm using Ga. 18 Stainless steel sheets. Metrotech Steel Industries Inc. can use fiber glass as an alternative material for the trash and linen chutes.
